T-Mobile Arena

The Golden Knights play at T-Mobile Arena, a 17,500-seat hockey venue on the Las Vegas Strip between New York-New York and Park MGM. Nicknamed “The Fortress” by Golden Knights fans, the arena has been the team’s home since its inaugural season.

Golden Knights Game-Day Experience

A Golden Knights game leans into Las Vegas-style entertainment well before the puck drops. Pregame presentations use theatrical lighting, video, music, on-ice performers, and the team’s medieval theme to build toward player introductions and the start of the game.

The home-game atmosphere has helped give T-Mobile Arena its “Fortress” nickname and makes the pregame production an important part of the experience rather than simply an introduction to the hockey.

📍 Visitor Tip
Get to your seats before the pregame presentation rather than arriving right at puck drop. The opening production is part of the Golden Knights experience and worth seeing at your first game.

Golden Knights History

The Vegas Golden Knights began play as an NHL expansion team in the 2017–18 season and immediately won the Pacific Division before advancing to the Stanley Cup Final, where they lost to the Washington Capitals.

The franchise reached the Stanley Cup Final again in 2023 and defeated the Florida Panthers to win its first championship, clinching the series at T-Mobile Arena in Game 5. The title came in just the Golden Knights’ sixth NHL season.

Nearby Things to Do
