The 2022 Aviation Nation Air & Space Expo, featuring the Air Force Thunderbirds, is coming to Nellis Air Force Base near Las Vegas, Nevada on Saturday & Sunday, November 5-6, 2022.

Aviation Nation, sometimes referred to as America’s Air Show, is the annual award-winning air show of the United States Air Force (USAF). The show is hosted at Nellis Air Force Base near Las Vegas, Nevada. The air show is a three-day event and is open to the public for the last two days. Guests who are unable to normally access the base can park at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway and ride a free shuttle bus to the base tarmac to view aircraft static displays, tour some aircraft, visit vending booths, and watch aerial demonstrations.

Please plan accordingly:
Gates will be open from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. Buses will take people to the flight line from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM. All parking will be at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway (LVMS). No foot traffic through any gate is allowed.

The Regional Transportation Commission is also providing service to the LVMS on the 5th and 6th of November from 7:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Buses will leave to Aviation Nation every 30 minutes on the hour and a half hour from
all park and ride locations; Santa Fe, Aliante, Sam’s Town, M Resort, Red Rock and Green Valley Ranch

Buses will leave from the LVMS every 30 minutes beginning at 9:00 AM — last bus departs LVMS at 5:30 PM.
