Allegiant Stadium
The Raiders play at Allegiant Stadium, a 65,000-seat enclosed and climate-controlled stadium near the Las Vegas Strip. The venue opened in 2020 and also hosts major concerts, college football, and other sporting events throughout the year.
Stadium tours provide another way to experience the home of the Raiders outside of game day, with behind-the-scenes access to areas connected to the team and venue.
Raiders Game-Day Experience
Raiders games bring the silver-and-black culture of Raider Nation to Allegiant Stadium. Inside, Raiders imagery and the Al Davis Memorial Torch connect the Las Vegas stadium to the franchise’s history in Oakland and Los Angeles.
AFC West games against the Kansas City Chiefs, Denver Broncos, and Los Angeles Chargers are particularly notable matchups. If attending a game is a priority during your Las Vegas trip, it’s worth checking tickets in advance rather than waiting until you arrive.
Give yourself plenty of time to reach Allegiant Stadium before kickoff. Game-day traffic and pedestrian crowds build around the stadium, so arriving early gives you time to clear security, find your seats, and explore without rushing.
Raiders History
The Raiders began play in Oakland in 1960 as a member of the American Football League before joining the NFL as part of the AFL-NFL merger. The franchise later moved to Los Angeles, returned to Oakland, and relocated to Las Vegas for the 2020 season.
Across those eras, the Raiders won three Super Bowl championships and developed one of the NFL’s most distinctive identities. Al Davis remains central to that identity, including the organization’s longtime “Commitment to Excellence” philosophy and the memorial torch bearing his name at Allegiant Stadium.
